Love it or hate it, it was HUGE in its time
I stumbled across this site recently and it took me down a really nostalgic trip down memory lane. Disco was big when it came out. Really big. It was everywhere and everyone jumped on the bandwagon. Sequins, glitter, spandex and chunky platform shoes were found on any and all self-respecting disco dancers back in the day.
Of course John Travolta really got the ball rolling in 1977 when he took on the role of Tony Manero in the iconic “Saturday Night Fever.”
